Intasite’s Commercial Director, Danielle Croce, took centre stage at the Tees Tech Awards 2025, delivering a heartfelt and inspiring keynote speech that resonated deeply with the region’s thriving technology community.
As Intasite celebrates its tenth anniversary as an online induction software management company, Danielle reflected on her own 15-year journey in the industry, from her early days as a graphic designer to leading one of the North East’s most innovative safety technology companies.
“With 15 years in the industry, I’ve witnessed firsthand its rapid growth and transformation, particularly in the Tees Valley,” Danielle said.
“As the Tees Businesswoman of the Year, I’m passionate about encouraging more women to step forward as role models to inspire the next generation. I look forward to celebrating a night dedicated to the region’s incredible talent.”
Opening her keynote with humour and honesty, Danielle admitted that public speaking had never been on her bucket list, describing the experience as both terrifying and humbling. But her message soon turned deeply reflective, exploring themes of self-belief, purpose, and authenticity in leadership.
Danielle shared her journey from studying graphic design at Teesside University to co-founding her first business at just 22, and later taking the leap to join Intasite, a company she describes as “built on purpose”. Intasite is a company that creates software to safely manage who is on site, such as the contractor management software.
“Deep down, I knew that myself and the team at Intasite had a real shot at building something world-class - a platform that could genuinely make people safer and set a new standard for the industry.”
She spoke candidly about the fear and fulfillment that come with entrepreneurship and leadership, sharing that her motivation has always been rooted in the “why” rather than the “what.”
“In tech, we talk a lot about performance, scale, and growth. But for me, purpose has always mattered more.
Our mission at Intasite is simple: to make people and places safer. That purpose anchors everything we do”. Intasite aims to do this through plenty of different ways, including online site inductions.
Danielle also used her platform to champion women in technology, urging more women to see themselves as leaders, innovators, and mentors.
“Feeling like an imposter is something we all experience from time to time - I certainly do,” she said.
“But maybe that’s a sign that you care deeply about what you do.
The Tees Tech Awards, organised by Tees Business, celebrate the innovation, ambition, and collaboration driving the Tees Valley’s digital economy. This year’s event once again showcased the strength of the region’s tech ecosystem, from established businesses to emerging startups.
Danielle’s keynote perfectly captured the spirit of the evening, a celebration of purpose, resilience, and community at the heart of Teesside’s growing technology scene.
