Intasite Celebrates 10 Years of Innovation and Growth in Safety Technology
This year, we’re marking a huge milestone - our 10th anniversary! Over the past decade, we’ve gone from a local startup to a global leader in safety software, helping high-risk industries streamline their safety and compliance processes. While we’ve expanded internationally, our heart remains in Tees Valley, where we continue to invest in innovation, people, and our community.
We’re incredibly proud to share that in 2024, we achieved a 40% increase in growth, expanded our client base, and grew our team, all while continuing to push the boundaries of safety technology.
A Decade of Growth and Recognition
To celebrate our anniversary, we welcomed Chris McDonald, MP for Stockton North, to our Stockton office. He toured our state-of-the-art audiovisual department, met our growing team, and saw firsthand the work we’re doing to enhance workplace safety.
Chris was so impressed with our growth that he even raised it in Parliament, where Rachel Reeves, Chancellor of the Exchequer, publicly acknowledged our achievements.
“I was delighted to have been invited to Intasite’s 10th birthday. They’re an amazing company that’s developing products for people to access industrial sites safely. They’ve had such phenomenal growth, and that’s why I was really pleased to raise that with the Chancellor of the Exchequer in Parliament.”
- Chris McDonald, MP for Stockton North
From Local Roots to a Global Presence
When we started Intasite in 2015, our mission was simple: to make high-risk industrial sites safer. Today, we work with global clients, including:
- Equinor’s Dogger Bank Wind Farm
- RWE
- Hitachi Energy
- CF Industries (Canada & US)
- The Port of NEOM (Saudi Arabia)
- A Power Plant in Oman
And in 2024, we expanded our global footprint even further by taking part in a Department for International Trade mission and attending Big 5 Global, the world’s biggest construction industry event in Dubai.
“It may be difficult to quantify, but we believe our innovative systems have saved lives and prevented serious injuries on hazardous sites. Knowing that our technology contributes to the safety of individuals is what drives us to continue pushing the boundaries in our industry.”
- Danielle Croce, Commercial Director & Tees Businesswoman of the Year 2024
Investing in People & Innovation
None of this would be possible without our amazing team. This year, we’ve expanded our workforce, bringing in a new project manager, a video editor, and our first apprentice in partnership with Middlesbrough College.
We’re also investing in new technology, including AI-driven safety solutions and our latest innovation: e-permitting. This game-changing system streamlines permit approvals, site access, and compliance checks, making industrial safety more efficient and secure than ever.
“One of the things that excites me the most is how they’re developing their new products, investing in artificial intelligence, and creating a whole new range of solutions, including e-permitting.”
- Chris McDonald, MP for Stockton North
Giving Back to Our Community
Even as we grow internationally, we remain committed to giving back to our local community. This year, we’ve supported:
- Zoe’s Place Big Give Christmas Campaign
- Middlesbrough’s Christmas Light Switch-On (AV Support)
- Home-Start Teesside – donating 30 family tickets to Newham Grange Farm for families in need
We believe that business success and social responsibility go hand in hand, and we’re proud to support causes that make a difference.
Looking to the Future
This anniversary isn’t just about looking back, it’s about looking forward.
“We’re committed to continuing our journey of growth, embracing new challenges, and furthering our contributions to the local community and regional regeneration.”
- Danielle Croce, Commercial Director
We’re pushing the boundaries of safety technology, expanding our global reach, and creating more opportunities for local talent. And while we’re exploring exciting international opportunities, our base will always be Tees Valley.
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen summed it up perfectly:
“We’re a booming region that has always led the way in embracing new technology, and Intasite’s 10 years at the forefront of their industry have flown the flag for our region on the global stage.”
Thank You!
As we celebrate 10 incredible years, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us - our clients, partners, team, and community.
Here’s to the next decade of innovation, growth, and making industrial sites safer for everyone!
